Meyerland Mothers of Young Children is a parenting resource, networking and social group for Moms (and Dads) of preschool aged children (0 to 5 years) in the greater Meyerland area.

Meyerland is a subdivision located in southwest Houston near Braeswood and 610. We welcome moms from all backgrounds, working or stay-at-home. Come join the fun!

Common Questions

What kind of moms are part of the group?

All kinds- working and stay-at-home, married and single, and moms with natural and adopted children. What binds us together is mutual respect, friendship, and interest in parenting.

Are there age limits for the kids?

Our children's activities are geared toward kids age 5 and under, but there is no hard and fast rule for age limits. If you want to join, we welcome you!

Do I have to live in Meyerland to join?

You do not have to live in Meyerland to be part of our group. The majority of us live in Meyerland, but we also have members who live in Westbury, Maplewood, Willow Meadows, Braeswood area, and the Medical Center.

What are membership dues used for?

Dues are used to subsidize food, decorations, and other supplies for our social activities. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Do I have to be a member to attend events?

Besides new member "open house" events, you must be a dues-paying member to participate in MMOYC activities.

How to Join

Annual dues are $20 (due upon registration as a member of the group). Membership starts April 1 - March 30. If you join mid-year, your dues are prorated. Click here to download the application.
